Client Portal
Give your clients a branded, read-through login where they can see projects, pay invoices, sign contracts, and raise cases.
#Enabling portal access
Portal access is per-client. Open a client’s detail page and switch to the Portal Access tab:
- Toggle Enable portal. The client’s primary email becomes the login.
- Switch to the Password tab to set an initial password, or use Send reset link and let them set their own.
- The client signs in at
app.synqhub.com/portal/login.
#Portal dashboard
After login, the client lands on their dashboard — a welcome line plus a quick status summary.
What they see:
- Summary cards — Active Projects, Completed, Upcoming Milestones, Pending Change Requests.
- Recent activity — last handful of events relevant to them.
- Upcoming milestones — project targets you’ve marked client-visible.
#Projects in the portal
The Projects tab shows only projects belonging to that client, with search and status filters (All, Active, On Hold, Completed). Cards show progress bars so clients can see momentum at a glance.
The project detail view (read-only for clients) lists: overview, dates, owner, deliverables checklist, and the milestone list. Client-only; they can’t create or edit.
#Invoices & payments
Under Invoices clients see their invoices with status filters (All, Sent, Paid, Overdue). Each row has a Download button for the PDF and a View button for the detail page with line items, payment instructions, and a Pay Now button for unpaid invoices.
#Contracts
Clients see contracts they’re a party to. The detail page shows the full content (read-only) and a Download PDF button. If the contract is in Pending Signature, a Sign Now button takes them into the signature flow.
#Support & change requests
Two sections live here:
- Support Cases — the client sees their own cases. Replies you send land here; internal notes don’t.
- Change Requests — a dedicated flow for clients to request scope changes. They pick a project, category (Feature / Bug Fix / Enhancement / Other), priority, and add business justification and expected benefit. You triage these inside the app.
#Documents & meetings
Documents shows files you’ve shared with them through any of the document managers (client, project, contract, invoice, or case) — grouped under categories: Contracts, Deliverables, Reports. They can search and download.
Meetings lists upcoming and past events. Clients can click Request Meeting to send you a preferred date and type (Video / In-person / Phone). The request lands in your Calendar as a pending event.
